The team at Planet Granite have recently competed this wonderful project at the Ricoh Arena home of Wasps and Coventry City Football Club. All of the Counters where constructed in Italian Bianco Carrara marble as can be seen here.
Bianco Carrara marble is a very popular choice for architects in projects such as this, Planet Granite imported a complete matched block from Verona with which to fabricate the entire project. It was then templated, manufactured and installed by ourselves.
Final Inspection opening night!
Construction was 30mm mitred ends with biscuit joints produced on Cnc Bridge Saw, this is then hand polished by our team of masons Dave Malsbury and Bill Williams whilst in situ in order to achieve the flawless joins in the marble.

Matched directional veining can be seen below, it is important this flows throughout the entire project , note below the adhesive is still wet and will require at least 1 month to fully cure.
